KWY Aboriginal Corporation
KWY has 12 years of experience providing highly regarded community and support services that are responsive to the needs of the Aboriginal community and people. KWY supports more than 1500 people annually through 16 different programs in metropolitan Adelaide, Berri & Port Augusta. KWY provide Aboriginal people with cultural services and supports that build positive change. KWY provide services and support in DFV (majority of services), child protection, kinship care, disability, Aboriginal education outcomes & perpetrator intervention.
What are we doing?

Stronger Safer Family Outreach Hubs (Safety Hubs)

KWY’s Stronger Safer Family Outreach Hubs are a unique and culturally appropriate service for Aboriginal families that address and reduce DFV and improves the safety of women and children in the home. This is a whole family model where individual Practitioners walk alongside each member of the family to support their individual and collective needs, providing a holistic, intensive, trauma-informed, culturally safe and assertive outreach service.
